It was organised in association with the Sussex Regional Group of the Rare Breeds Survival Trust. It is hoped to make it an annual event.

1985/10Magazine Vol. 2 No. 25 / October 1985Newick Plumber's Workshop Arrives at the Museum / A 19th century plumber's and glazier's workshop from Newick in East Sussex was transported complete by lorry, and is standing on temporary pillars behind the Shop. It was donated by Mrs J. Hunt. It was hoisted complete onto a lorry provided by Horley Road Services and was stripped to go under bridges, clearinng the Shoreham bridge by one and a half inches. They occupied the sty in the toll Cottage Garden from April. They've gone and been replaced by two saddle-backs bought from the Old Rectory, Singleton.
