The Southern Water Authority has donated a bench saw and engine with the shed in which it was housed. This came form Allington, Maidstone.
The Museum has acquired a timber carriage, millwrighting tools used by Mr Lee of Midhurst and a galvanised bucket for the Catherington treadwheel. |

He will talk about his book "Hardy Country" at a preview of his work, and Robert Gittings will read some of Hardy's poems.
Exhibitions called "Portraits of Craftsmen" of photos by Adrian Ford, and "The Joy of Craftsmen" including tools from the collection of Edward and Cecilia Audsley will be staged in Asugust and October. |
